November was a blur and December is wrapping up that way. November saw my birthday and then of course, Thanksgiving! After Thanksgiving - BLACK FRIDAY!! It's my favorite day of the year. Then the holiday decoration go up. We had a great time getting the house in shape for the holidays. Hubby and I got to go to Honolulu again this year. We left on 11/29 and came home on 12/3. Another great trip. But, I have been sick since then. I guess leaving the 80 degree temps there and coming home to the coldest weather that we've had all year just sent me into a tail spin. I am just starting to recover and get over this nasty stuff. The grandbabies are all doing well - all 5 of them. They are all looking forward to Christmas. Christmas will be a little bittersweet for me this year. We do have a new grandbaby to celebrate the holiday with, but it will be the first Christmas since I lost my Mom. But, I never forget that I still have a lot to be thankful for, including each and every one of you!! Happy Holidays - Deb |
