 Subject: nail polish removers

I was just wondering about nail polish removers. I read in a magazine that it's not good to use non-acetone remover on real nails that it was only good for acrylics. But someone also told me that acetone wasnt good for your nails. So I was just wondering which polish remover is best to use that wont dry my nails out or damage them.
